Our long-running observational series on the moisture behaviour of stored crushed limestone (No. 2 grade, uncovered pile, northern exposure) has now entered its thirty-ninth consecutive year. Preliminary findings continue to indicate that the pile becomes wet when it rains and dries at a rate governed principally by the weather thereafter. A fuller treatment is in preparation.
